EN 1073-1: 1998 (UNI EN 1073 – 1: 2000)

Protective clothing against radioactive contamination – Requirements and test methods for ventilated protective clothing against particulate radioactive contamination

NOTE – The text of the standard refers to prEN 943-1:2002 Annex A, now EN 943-1:2002

The clothing must be designed so as to be easy to put on and take off and minimise the risk of contamination. It may comprise one or more parts and may be equipped with a respiratory protective device that will enable the wearer to breathe in the event of a failure in the main supply system.
