“Gas-tight” chemical protective suit
Type 1-a
with a breathable air supply, independent of the ambient atmosphere (e.g. a self-contained open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus), worn inside the suit
Type 1-b
with a breathable air supply, independent of the ambient atmosphere (e.g. a self-contained open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus), worn outside the suit.
Type 1-c
with a breathable air supply assuring positive pressure (e.g. airlines)

with a breathable air supply assuring positive pressure (e.g. airlines).
test according to EN 464 applicable to Types 1a, 1b and 1c Pressure drops must not exceed 300 Pa (3 mbar) in 6 min.
